Key Responsibilities


As a
Guest Services Operations Manager, you will oversee team members in the Guest Services Department and execute supervisory duties in alignment with the organization's guidelines and relevant regulations.

Your responsibilities will encompass recruiting, onboarding, and mentoring team members; organizing, delegating, and monitoring tasks; evaluating performance; recognizing and addressing issues; managing complaints and resolving conflicts.

Your specific tasks in this role will include:

  • Allocate responsibilities and schedules to team members and monitor performance to ensure compliance with hotel standards and established operational protocols.
  • Guarantee adherence to cash handling and key management procedures.
  • Respond to inquiries regarding hotel policies and amenities.
  • Participate in team meetings to review company policies and guest feedback, and to propose enhancements for service delivery and operational efficiency.
  • Perform Front Desk functions as required.
  • Provide guests with information regarding available services and operational hours of the hotel, such as dining options and lounges.
  • Foster effective departmental communication through logs, daily briefings, and monthly departmental gatherings.
  • Ensure compliance with all brand standards and initiatives.
  • Conduct various administrative tasks including forecasting occupancy rates, managing departmental budgets, analyzing service trends through Guest Satisfaction feedback, processing payroll, maintaining accurate inventory records, and overseeing accounting and procurement activities, such as cost and inventory management for the Market/Pantry.
  • Maintain current records and documentation.
  • Provide information about operational hours and available services of the hotel, including dining and room service.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the Front Office, lobby, and adjacent areas.
  • Assist in inspecting all fixtures, equipment, and conditions (lighting, music, climate control, furnishings, wallpaper, etc.) for proper functioning, settings, and maintenance. Report any deficiencies.

Qualifications

We are seeking a proactive
Guest Services Operations Managerwith a strong commitment to excellence and a passion for exceeding guest expectations. Exceptional communication skills are essential for this role.

Specific qualifications for the position include:

  • 1 to 3 years of relevant experience
  • Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical institution; or a comparable combination of education and experience.
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and prioritization abilities
  • Outstanding customer service capabilities
