About the Role

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Business Development and Growth to join our team at Verana Health. As a key member of our Sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and expansion through strategic sales and marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive business growth and expansion
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers within pharmaceutical companies
  • Prospect and leverage new business opportunities within specified accounts
  • Establish and execute a sales plan for each target account
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions that solve for client challenges
  • Drive all stages of opportunity development from proposal to contract execution
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in the healthcare industry, with a proven track record of selling healthcare data research assets and related analytic applications
  • Consultative selling skills with the ability to uncover and develop sales opportunities with top pharmaceutical manufacturers
  • Strong understanding of data use constraints within healthcare and life sciences
  • Ability to operate effectively in a complex, concept-driven environment
  • Experience structuring win-win partnerships and leading the contracting process
