Sales and Marketing Specialist

As an Outside Sales Representative at CHS Inc., you'll have the opportunity to work with a leading global agribusiness that provides grain, food, and energy resources to businesses and consumers worldwide. We're looking for an experienced professional with a strong background in sales, business development, and customer service.
Job OverviewYou'll be responsible for implementing sales strategies, developing new customer markets, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to drive business results. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and be proficient in MS Office Suite: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is also required.
Key Responsibilities- Increase sales and profitability through the implementation of sales, marketing, and consulting processes.
- Develop new customer markets and implement current customer programs.
- Communicate with customers and internal stakeholders in a professional and positive manner.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, distribution, operations, technical staff, and credit to heighten the visibility and impact of sales calls.
- Prepare sales presentations, contracts, bids, and proposals to ensure successful transactions.
- Provide training to co-op staff and customers.
- Service customer complaints and inquiries.
- Use CRM to account for results and customer communications.
- Manage and complete special projects for the local co-op and customers.
CHS offers a competitive total rewards package, including a base wage of $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, wellness programs, life insurance, health and dependent care spending accounts, paid time off, 401(k), pension, profit sharing, short- and long-term disability, tuition reimbursement, and adoption assistance.
Requirements- High School diploma or GED
- Knowledge of Sales, Business Development, and/or Sales Business Operations
- Bachelor's degree preferred in Business, Communications, Marketing, or related field
- Outside sales experience to include: presentations, utilizing persuasive negotiation skills, customer service, conflict resolution, and working independently
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient in MS Office Suite: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
