Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the sales team to drive the sales process and achieve quota objectives.
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with key customer accounts, serving as the primary interface for product solutions.
  • Lead the development of technical solutions tailored to customer needs, mapping requirements to the Celestica portfolio.
  • Manage the technical aspects of RFI/RFQ responses, crafting proposals that highlight Celestica's unique value propositions.
  • Assist account management and sales teams by providing technical solutions that meet specific customer needs, eliminating any technical barriers to closing opportunities.
  • Gather insights into customers' product and technology strategies to inform the development of Celestica's Hardware Platforms Solutions roadmap.
  • Clarify customer product requirements and contribute to the development of Statements of Work (SOW).
  • Support technical discussions with customers regarding product inquiries and issues after securing sales, acting as a liaison to internal development teams.
  • Stay updated on the technical directions of key strategic partners, including major technology firms.
  • Engage in industry standards committees and groups as necessary.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations to customers and at industry events.
  • Advise customers on industry trends, emerging technologies, and market opportunities.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in enterprise storage and computing sales, thriving in a dynamic technical environment with a growing customer base.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for professional interactions, including emails, presentations, and reports.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to creatively address sales challenges.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently within a collaborative team setting.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, enabling effective communication with various teams and customers.
  • A minimum of 5 years of direct experience in storage and computing systems sales, alongside relevant technical experience in IT infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with storage systems, topologies, applications, and enterprise database technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with Linux, Windows, SAN, and networking technologies.
  • Experience with flash-based storage technologies is essential.
  • Knowledge of AI/ML applications in enterprise and edge deployments is advantageous.

Work Environment

  • This position operates primarily in a standard office environment.
  • Extended periods of sitting and focused visual concentration on computer screens are common.
  • Frequent travel may be required.
