Overview
Under the direct supervision of the Service Coordinator and reporting to the Sales Director for the Americas, the Technical Service Specialist is tasked with providing support for dispensing equipment in the field. This role encompasses the installation and configuration of machines, aiding in the initiation of fluid dispensing operations, delivering post-sales assistance, and instructing clients and personnel on programming, setup, and troubleshooting of dispensing systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and troubleshoot Mycronic products both onsite and remotely
- Install new dispensing machines
- Assist clients with machine configuration and fluid dispensing operations
- Train clients and staff on system software and application configuration
- Provide support through various communication channels
- Deliver post-sales assistance
- Showcase systems at industry events
- Travel as necessary
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline is required
- 2-3 years of experience in technical support for fluid dispensing systems
- Familiarity with industry-related products is preferred
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
- Experience with electrical tools and components
- Mechanical aptitude for machine upkeep
- Strong communication skills
- Willingness to travel internationally
- Proficiency in Spanish or Chinese is an advantage
