About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Systems Engineer to join our team at Energy Management Corporation. As a Power Quality Expert, you will play a critical role in designing, analyzing, and improving power quality solutions that meet the evolving needs of our served and targeted industries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Leadership: Be the primary technical stakeholder for our power quality product portfolio, providing technical expertise and guidance to internal teams and clients.
  • Supplier Partnerships: Function as the technical interface to our supplier partners, working with them on product evaluation, performance, and suggestion of improvements to existing product solutions.
  • Power Quality Analysis: Analyze power quality data, diagnose issues, and develop engineering solutions to improve system reliability and performance.
  • System Analysis Tools: Develop and implement power quality system analysis tools to capture, analyze, and suggest technical solutions for customer power quality needs.
  • Technical Support: Work closely with the sales and product management teams to provide technical support for pre-sales application support and post-sales activities.
  • Research and Development: Engage in continuous research and development to enhance our power quality products and services.
  • Training and Documentation: Provide technical training and support to internal teams and clients on power quality standards, technologies, and best practices.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of power quality projects from concept through completion.
  • Industry Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations, standards, and best practices in power quality management.
  • Leadership and Culture: Implement our company's core values through leadership and by fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous growth, both internally and externally.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on power systems or related field.
  • Proven experience in power quality analysis, troubleshooting, and mitigation techniques.
  • Strong understanding of electrical power systems, harmonics, power factor, and grounding principles.
  • Familiarity with power quality analysis software and diagnostic tools.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and engineering simulation software.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating our company's core values.
