Position Overview:

We are looking for a talented and driven Controls Engineer to become a vital member of our innovative team. This role is perfect for someone who is enthusiastic about automation and control systems.

The successful candidate will take charge of designing, developing, and overseeing all facets of electrical control systems, equipment, and machinery.

You will engage in diverse projects, offering technical expertise and leadership. This is a full-time, permanent role with outstanding benefits and opportunities for professional advancement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electrical control systems for machinery and equipment, ensuring compliance with all applicable safety regulations.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all control systems, including schematics, manuals, and programming.
  • Troubleshoot and repair control systems as necessary, providing technical assistance to the maintenance team.
  • Collaborate with fellow engineers and team members to devise and implement innovative solutions for complex challenges.
  • Conduct regular inspections and tests of control systems to ensure proper and safe functionality.
  • Stay informed about the latest technologies and industry trends, continually enhancing and updating our control systems.
  • Train and mentor junior engineers and other team members, sharing your knowledge and expertise.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience with Fanuc or similar control systems.
  • Demonstrated experience in designing, developing, and maintaining electrical control systems.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to troubleshoot intricate systems.
  • Solid understanding of electrical engineering principles, control systems, and safety standards.
  • Proficiency in programming languages relevant to control systems, such as PLC and HMI.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with other engineers and team members.
  • Capability to manage multiple projects concurrently, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, with the ability to produce and maintain accurate documentation.
  • A commitment to continuous learning and improvement, staying current with the latest technology and industry developments.
