Position Overview: As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will spearhead the integration of new technologies that facilitate advanced features and solutions. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage engineering initiatives related to electrical wiring, components, circuits, and power standards.
  • Conduct electrical wiring sizing calculations and validate designs.

  • Supervise component and electrical testing, and authorize designs prior to testing.
  • Create electrical design documentation utilizing CAD software.

  • Assist with testing and troubleshooting at customer sites.
  • Concentrate on initiatives for product cost reduction.
  • Collaborate with various functional teams to optimize design and production workflows.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is required.
  • 7-10 years of experience in designing and supporting electrical systems in a manufacturing context, ideally within the food service equipment sector.
  • Experience with process controls and control logic development is advantageous.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, SolidWorks 3D Electrical, or other 3D electrical CAD software.
  • Familiarity with PCB design and experience with Altium Designer is preferred.
  • Knowledge of DFSS, reliability analysis, and agency certification standards such as UL, CE, NEC, TUV, and NFPA.
