Position Overview
Moss Adams LLP is seeking a dedicated professional for the role of Senior Compliance and Internal Audit. In this position, you will contribute to our mission of empowering organizations by ensuring adherence to regulations and enhancing operational effectiveness.

Team Introduction
Join our Business Consulting Services team, which specializes in delivering comprehensive internal and performance audit solutions to a diverse clientele across the Western United States. Our collaborative environment is focused on building strong relationships and delivering high-value results.

Key Responsibilities
- Initiate project planning and develop robust compliance monitoring frameworks.
- Oversee subrecipient performance and ensure accurate reporting.
- Conduct thorough compliance assessments, evaluate financial submissions, and formulate actionable recommendations.
- Execute internal controls evaluations, internal audits, and operational assessments.
- Engage in consulting activities, including interviews and document analysis, to prepare insightful client deliverables.
- Collaborate with clients to assess current practices, identify improvement opportunities, and establish new or revised policies and procedures.

Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related discipline is preferred; advanced degrees such as a Master’s in Accounting, MBA, or MPA are advantageous.
- A minimum of three years of relevant experience, ideally within governmental or not-for-profit sectors; professional certifications such as CPA, CIA, CGMA, or CFE are highly regarded.
- Experience in grant management and internal controls audits is essential.
- Familiarity with Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards (GAGAS) and the Yellow Book is preferred.
- Strong writing and communication skills, with the ability to articulate findings and recommendations effectively.
- Excellent organizational skills, capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint) is required.
- Willingness to travel as necessary, approximately 20-30%.
