As a Branch Operations Leader at UNIFY, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial well-being of our members.

In this role, you will:

  • Drive business growth by launching promotions, training staff to achieve targets, attracting new clientele, and organizing special events.
  • Adapt to changes within the branch and the organization with a proactive mindset.
  • Conduct team meetings and individual sessions for staff development and performance enhancement.
  • Provide guidance through one-on-one interactions and by monitoring sales conversations.
  • Address member inquiries related to their financial products (checking, savings, loans, etc.).
  • Offer solutions utilizing your training and available resources.
  • Assist your team during peak operational hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and perform essential functions of branch staff, including teller, new accounts, and lending duties, adhering to policies and security measures.
  • Ensure compliance with established operating policies and procedures, regularly updating staff on relevant changes.
  • Assist in setting branch goals and sales targets, taking actions to achieve them, and ensuring team accountability.
  • Resolve operational issues related to members and team members.
  • Enhance member relations by engaging with sponsor employer groups and fostering relationships through cross-selling.
  • Maintain proactive communication with the Regional Branch Manager and other departments.
  • Participate in management meetings as a member of the Management Team.
  • Support the development and execution of Credit Union policies and programs.
  • Ensure satisfactory branch audits and maintain security measures.
  • Oversee balancing activities and ensure the branch facility and equipment are well-maintained.
  • Conduct weekly meetings to keep team members informed of updates and procedures.
  • Manage employment, performance evaluations, scheduling, training, and motivation of branch staff.
  • Ensure compliance with UNIFY service standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a bachelor's degree is preferred, along with at least six years of relevant branch management experience.
  • Thorough knowledge of credit union services, products, and procedures is essential.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary, along with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
