Job Overview:

As the Operations Manager at Veo, you will have the chance to lead our pioneering dockless micromobility initiative. Your role will be crucial to the program's success by ensuring smooth daily warehouse and field operations while also enhancing local partnerships. Ultimately, your primary goal will be to boost ridership. Your performance will be evaluated based on your ability to drive daily ridership, lead a high-performing team, and deliver exceptional customer service to users.
The perfect candidate for this position is someone who is self-motivated and has a proven track record of thriving in dynamic environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily warehouse and field operations.
- Engage in physical tasks such as moving scooters, driving vans, and maintaining scooters.
- Plan and manage daily routes for hourly staff for fleet deployment and repositioning.
- Identify deficiencies in meeting operational metrics and devise solutions to address them.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of fleet health counts, weekly operations data updates, and maintenance requests.
- Recruit and train local team members.
- Ensure operations comply with city agreements and company standard operating procedures.
- Manage inventory and ensure timely ordering of parts.
- Bachelor's degree.
- 1-2 years of experience managing operations in fleet management, warehousing, distribution, delivery, or related fields.
- Ability to lift 60 lbs routinely.
- Ownership mentality with a proactive approach.
- Proven ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
- Flexibility to work various days and shifts.
- Strong quantitative decision-making skills.
