Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive business growth by launching promotions, training staff to achieve targets, attracting new clients, and organizing special events.

  • Conduct team meetings and individual sessions for staff development and training.

  • Assist the team during peak operational hours.

Position Summary:

Oversee, direct, and manage the operational activities and personnel of the branch to ensure comprehensive financial oversight, profitability, and accountability across all operational aspects. Manage a branch with a team of seven or fewer members.

Key Duties:

  • Supervise branch staff, including Teller, New Accounts, and Lending functions, ensuring adherence to policies and security measures.
  • Ensure compliance with established operating policies and procedures, providing updates to staff as necessary.
  • Assist in setting branch goals and sales targets, ensuring team accountability for achieving objectives and delivering superior service.
  • Resolve operational issues related to members and team members.
  • Promote positive member relations by engaging with sponsor employer groups and fostering relationships through cross-selling.
  • Maintain open communication with the Regional Branch Manager and other departments.
  • Participate in management meetings and contribute to the development of Credit Union policies and initiatives.
  • Ensure satisfactory branch audits and compliance with security and operational processes.
  • Oversee balancing activities and maintain control of security measures.
  • Ensure branch facilities and equipment are maintained and ready for member service.
  • Conduct regular branch meetings to communicate updates and new initiatives.
  • Manage staffing needs, performance evaluations, training, and development plans.
  • Ensure compliance with UNIFY Financial Credit Union service standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a bachelor's degree is preferred, along with a minimum of six years of relevant branch management experience.
  • Thorough knowledge of credit union services, products, and lending procedures is essential.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
