Compensation:
$23.86 per hour

Position Overview:
The Facility Operations Leader is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the facility and managing staff under the guidance of senior management. This role requires a clear understanding of operational boundaries and the ability to escalate issues when necessary.

Work Schedule:
Availability to work a minimum of two-thirds of each month, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure adequate staffing levels for all shifts.
  • Maintain the ice surface, utilizing appropriate resurfacing techniques and equipment.
  • Manage all incoming deliveries to the facility.
  • Assess and address daily maintenance and repair needs of the building.
  • Support event operations, including birthday parties and private rentals.
  • Assist with financial close-outs, including bank deposits and cash handling.
  • Secure and account for all safe funds at the start and end of each shift.
  • Conduct inventory checks of facility keys and radios before and after shifts.
  • Promote exceptional customer service among staff and ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Be knowledgeable of emergency protocols and evacuation procedures.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the facility.
  • Ensure the facility is secured at the end of each operational day.
  • Perform additional tasks as required.

Qualifications:
  • Must wear the assigned uniform during all shifts.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with team members and guests.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Minimum of one year of relevant experience.
  • Must be capable of performing physically demanding tasks.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work in a cold environment.
