Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Human Resources Coordinator to join our team at Westin San Diego. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our management team and ensuring the smooth operation of our recruitment processes.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the coordination of recruitment efforts, including scheduling interviews and maintaining applicant flow logs.
  • Support the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date employee records, including interview documents and I-9s.
  • Process and maintain payroll records in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR management team, including creating and maintaining filing systems and generating HR data reports.
  • Train new hires on HR processes, policies, and information systems.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on HR-related matters and participate in project teams as needed.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in a related field is a plus.
  • At least 2 years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in a recruitment or support role.
  • Proficient in Windows operating systems, including Microsoft Office and HR information systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
