TÜV SÜD America, a premier provider in risk management solutions, is seeking a Senior Consultant in Property Risk Management for a remote role.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct Comprehensive Surveys: Perform detailed property risk assessments to identify potential hazards and business interruption risks at client sites, adhering to relevant standards.
  2. Develop Strategic Recommendations: Formulate actionable strategies based on risk evaluations, including loss projections pre- and post-implementation.
  3. Assess Fire Protection Systems: Analyze automatic fire suppression and water supply systems for effectiveness and compliance.
  4. Evaluate Construction and Hazards: Review building structures, occupancy types, and assess both special and natural risk factors.
  5. Estimate Potential Losses: Create loss estimates based on various risk scenarios, including Maximum Foreseeable Loss assessments.
  6. Provide Training and Support: Offer guidance and peer review for fellow consultants, acting as a technical resource.
  7. Client Services: Deliver a range of services including training, program development, and regulatory interpretation.
  8. Proposal Development: Prepare and present service proposals, develop operational guidelines, and gather client feedback.
  9. Engage with Management: Interact directly with senior client personnel, including risk and financial managers, ensuring professional communication.
  10. Project Management: Oversee project tasks, including site visits, plan evaluations, and client presentations.
  11. Database Management: Efficiently manage assigned tasks within the company database.

Qualifications:

  1. Strong communication skills for effective client interaction.
  2. Fieldwork experience, including report writing and plan analysis.
  3. Ability to adapt workloads based on project demands.
  4. Physical capability to perform site assessments, including lifting and climbing.
  5. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  6. Possession of or progress towards certifications such as Professional Engineer License (PE) or Certified Fire Protection Specialist (CFPS).
  7. 3 to 5 years of experience in a consulting role.
  8. Ability to synthesize information and draw conclusions based on established guidelines.
  9. Proficient in creating clear and concise reports and communications.
  10. Demonstrated technical expertise in the field.
