Salary: $16-$18/hour, based on experience, plus potential for commission, renewal bonuses & more

Schedule: Full-time. Rotating schedule, including Saturdays, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Delivering outstanding customer service
  • Assisting in comprehensive market surveys
  • Showing, leasing, and facilitating the move-in process for prospective community members
  • Updating unit availability on a daily basis
  • Processing rental applications efficiently
  • Handling maintenance requests promptly
  • Receiving collections in accordance with company standards
  • Providing clerical and phone support
  • Maintaining accurate and complete files for all community members
  • Coordinating a calendar of scheduled move-ins, ensuring all appointments are completed and apartments are inspected to meet company standards
  • Demonstrating the ability to resolve resident complaints and escalate pertinent issues to the Supervisor
  • Conducting move-out inspections for community members
  • Performing additional tasks or duties as assigned by the Supervisor
Special Requirements:

Physical Demands:
  • The employee will be regularly required to sit, stand, walk, reach using feet, legs, back, arms, and hands; talk and hear. The employee may occasionally be required to climb. The employee will be required to work at a personal computer and talk on the phone for extended periods. Must possess the ability to detect auditory and/or visual alarms and be available to work extended/flexible hours and weekends, as needed.
Attendance/Travel:
  • This position is full-time and may require availability to work some nights, weekends, and occasional holidays. Regular attendance and active participation in company functions and events are expected.

Qualifications:

Computer Skills:
  • Intermediate computer and Internet knowledge
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Preferred knowledge of software programs such as Yardi, Voyager, LRO, Entrata, Resident Check
Learning and Development:
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and career growth through the company's continuing education programs
Education:
  • High school education or equivalent is required
  • Ability to fluently read and write English, accurately perform intermediate mathematical functions, and utilize all on-site resident management software functions
Professional Experience:
  • One year of experience in a service industry is preferred
