Job Summary

Visa is seeking an experienced payments professional to join our Employee Benefit Sales team. As a Senior Account Executive, you will be responsible for expanding and deepening our issuance and Visa Direct disbursements strategy with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate closely with the Mergers and Acquisitions integration team and Acquired Entity team members to facilitate integration activities and define processes for Third-party Tech Management.
  2. Develop and maintain relationships with Visa partners, including Issuers, Program Managers, Processors, and FinTechs, to secure Visa preference and drive new use cases.
  3. Work closely with Visa's Government Engagement team to educate government decision makers and influencers on the benefits and value of consumer-directed healthcare programs.
  4. Lead and grow Visa's purchase volume and Visa Direct transactions across all Employee Benefits markets with Issuing Partners and Program Managers.
  5. Position Visa as a leader in the payments industry and drive new product use cases with the Prepaid Product, Visa Business Solutions (Healthcare), and Visa Direct Product/Marketing teams.
Requirements
  1. 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 10 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g., Masters/MBA/JD/MD), or a minimum of 5 years of work experience with a PhD.
  2. Solid payments experience with an emphasis on card payments and Employee Benefit Industry knowledge.
  3. Relationship and experience with Healthcare technology companies, third-party benefits administrators, and HSA Administrators.
  4. Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  5. Card Issuing/Acquiring experience beneficial, with exposure to servicing Financial Institution clients in these areas required.
  6. Strong analytical and strategic planning skills.
  7. Ability to implement critical initiatives with efficiency, professionalism, and validated trouble-shooting/problem-solving skills.
  8. Confidence and ability to effectively create and deliver presentations to consumer-directed healthcare organizations.
  9. Ability to negotiate business agreements and enhance existing and new relationships.
  10. Demonstrate understanding of financial indicators to measure business performance and an ability to summarize business and financial data in a useful manner for planning and decision-making.
  11. Strong analytical skills for large volumes of aggregated data.
  12. Ability to work independently and in collaboration with high levels of success/achievement.
  13. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  14. Consulting experience a plus.
  15. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Additional Information

Authorization to work in the U.S. is a precondition of employment for this position. Visa will not sponsor applicants for work visas in connection with this position.

Work Hours and Travel Requirements

Incumbent must make themselves available during core business hours. This position requires travel 25-50% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements

This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.
