Dealer Communications Business Development Manager

Delivering Results Through Strategic Dealer Communications
The ideal candidate will serve as the primary liaison for 25 dealers across North America, fostering relationships to drive sales and company success. This role reports directly to the Director of National Accounts for North America.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with dealers, utilizing excellent communication and interpersonal skills to drive sales and business growth.
- Maintain constant, detailed communication with dealers via phone, email, and virtual meetings to improve performance.
- Conduct monthly performance review meetings with dealers, outlining sales and profit goals against current standings.
- Manage and maintain dealer marketing budgets, handling media invoicing and special program budgets.
- Collaborate with marketing and creative development teams at each dealer to develop strategic advertisements, promotions, and campaigns.
- Review each promotion prior to launch to ensure target customers are being reached.
- Tailor approaches with each dealer, understanding the unique structure and operations of each.
- Obtain and analyze data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and sales success.
- Provide information, training, and clearly outline initiatives to dealer reps to boost their participation.
- Collaborate with territory sales managers when stocking issues, improper product listings, and product information requests arise.
- Ensure all product information is accurate and up-to-date with each dealer, including specs and pricing.
- Manage all new product launches with dealers and ensure inventory is stocked.
- Assist with trade show and dealer meeting setup, managing appointments and follow-up.
- Ensure any recall or safety notices and discontinued products are communicated to dealers, facilitating necessary returns.
- Work well independently and as part of a team.
- Complete special projects in a timely manner.
- Other duties as assigned or necessary.
Position Details:
- This is a full-time direct hire position.
- The role is hybrid, with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.
- Approximately 10-15% travel is required for dealer functions and trade shows.
- The salary range is between $65,000 and $75,000 annually, depending on experience.
- The position offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, 401(k) match, FSA/HSA, life insurance, and PTO.
- Applicants should have 24 years of experience in sales, marketing, and customer service, with product management experience preferred.
- Excellent computer skills, including SAP, Excel, and PowerPoint, are required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential.
- Strong organization skills and time management skills are required.
- Self-motivation and a high level of confidentiality are necessary.
- Relocation is not available.
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States and must not require visa sponsorship.
