Overview

The Climate & Clean Energy Equity Fund seeks a skilled Human Resources Associate to join our team. This part-time position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the clean energy sector.

Salary

The hourly rate for this role is $25-$30, based on our DC office location and may vary depending on cost of labor in each respective geographical market.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Full-cycle recruitment, including drafting job advertisements, managing applicant tracking systems, and conducting initial phone screens and in-person interviews.
  • Onboarding and offboarding staff, including facilitating the onboarding process and conducting exit interviews.
  • Performance management, including supporting performance reviews and addressing performance issues.
  • Benefits administration, including managing employee benefits programs and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • HR compliance, including maintaining labor law compliance and preparing accurate HR records and reports.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field; PHR or SHRM certification is a plus.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in a similar Human Resources role.
  • Familiarity with HR best practices and employment laws.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and prioritize multiple responsibilities effectively.
