Idaho National Laboratory is seeking a Compliance Control Manager to oversee our Compliance Department. This role operates on a 9x80 schedule, providing a unique work-life balance with every Friday off. There may be opportunities for hybrid work arrangements.

In this position, you will be responsible for managing key areas of functional expertise, developing and implementing operational policies within your scope of management. You will also play a role in shaping the functional strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a wide range of functional activities through both exempt and non-exempt specialists, providing guidance in accordance with established policies.
  • Supervise employees engaged in similar or related functions.
  • Potentially manage multiple shifts or departments along with subordinate managers.
  • Develop and manage budgets, schedules, and performance metrics for your unit.
  • Implement cost management strategies for your section.
  • Oversee routine operational plans.
  • Assist in defining the overall and long-term objectives of the department.
  • Recommend modifications to policies at the sub-unit, unit, or discipline level.
  • Collaborate with subordinate supervisors and functional peers, requiring clear communication of technical information.
  • Facilitate cooperation among team members by presenting technical information related to specific projects.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with 8 years of experience in export compliance/control, or a master's degree with 5 years of relevant experience.
  • At least two years of leadership or management experience.
  • Familiarity with contractual obligations and federal export control regulations.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain a DOE Q security clearance and SCI, requiring U.S. citizenship.

Compensation Information:

  • The target salary range for this role is $115,000 - $175,000 annually, with a full pay range of $89,652 - $215,160, determined by factors such as education and relevant experience.

  • This position is designated for testing; candidates will undergo a pre-employment drug screening and periodic testing during employment.
