Role Summary
The Idaho National Laboratory is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Operations Supervisor to lead our Work Control division. This role is integral to our team, which operates on a 4x10 schedule, ensuring a balanced work-life dynamic.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the strategic planning of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with the Site Maintenance Manager to align departmental goals.
- Ensure the seamless integration of Environmental, Safety, Health & Quality (ESH&Q) standards and operational protocols into the maintenance planning process.
- Foster a culture of safety by promoting worker engagement, hazard identification, and continuous improvement.
- Design and implement training programs for planners, focusing on professional growth and performance evaluation.
- Manage the maintenance program for Central Facilities, ensuring compliance with established standards.
- Develop and track performance metrics, taking proactive measures to address any negative trends.
- Coordinate maintenance planning efforts to support customer needs effectively.
- Guide team members in accordance with organizational policies and management directives.
- Administer budgets and schedules, ensuring cost management aligns with departmental objectives.
- Contribute to the formulation of long-term strategic goals for the department.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 5 years of experience, or 12 years of applicable experience in lieu of a degree is required. Candidates must also be eligible to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy clearance.
