Assistant Maintenance Supervisor

Chapman Management Group is in search of an Assistant Maintenance Supervisor who possesses a robust expertise in facility management, sanitation protocols, and upkeep tasks. The perfect candidate will demonstrate outstanding organizational capabilities, time management proficiency, and inherent leadership traits, complemented by excellent communication skills. A meticulous attention to detail is crucial for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular inspections of properties to identify maintenance requirements.
  • Develop and delegate weekly maintenance plans.
  • Oversee and mentor maintenance personnel.
  • Organize daily cleaning and maintenance operations.
  • Ensure all repairs are completed promptly and efficiently.
  • Manage stock levels and the upkeep of equipment.
  • Adhere to health and safety standards.
  • Execute preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Follow up on maintenance activities to ensure completion.
  • Perform safety assessments as necessary.
  • Formulate strategies to address workload challenges.
  • Uphold a professional demeanor and maintain confidentiality.
  • Evaluate the work performed by contractors and staff.
  • Eligibility for bonuses based on property performance metrics.
  • Availability for on-call duties may be necessary.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of supervisory experience in maintenance.
  • Comprehensive understanding of facility management, sanitation, and maintenance practices.
  • Knowledgeable in health and safety regulations.
  • Proven leadership and organizational abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Capability to perform effectively under pressure.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and email applications.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • A collaborative team player who can also work independently.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is advantageous.
