The e-commerce sector has experienced remarkable expansion, and TikTok is poised to redefine the shopping experience for millions of users. Our product engineering team is tasked with developing a cutting-edge e-commerce ecosystem that is both secure and user-friendly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical guidance and cultivate high-performing teams, offering mentorship and support to engineers.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and other stakeholders to innovate the future of shopping experiences on TikTok.
  • Oversee comprehensive system design across various teams and functions.
  • Ensure the development of an intuitive and dependable shopping experience, covering aspects such as product browsing, checkout, returns, and refunds.
  • Manage promotional campaigns by creating platforms and tools that assist merchants and businesses in optimizing their campaigns and gaining actionable insights.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, including at least 1 year in a leadership role.
  • Experience with E-Commerce products or within related industries such as Retail, Travel, or Financial Services.
  • Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms, with proficiency in at least one programming language such as Go, JavaScript, Java, or C++.
  • Experience in hybrid cross-platform development is advantageous.
  • Solid grasp of business principles, technical abstraction, and system module design.
  • Experience with large-scale website architecture is preferred.
