POSITION SUMMARY:
The Apparel Sales Team Leader significantly influences the implementation of brand standards and enhances the teammate experience. Under the direction of the Assistant Store Manager and Store Manager, the Team Leader serves as the in-store authority for their designated department. This role is centered on delivering exceptional customer service while guiding teammates effectively. The ability to lead by example, demonstrate empathy, maintain resilience, exhibit optimism, and collaborate with colleagues distinguishes the Team Leader.
- Aids in building a robust team by participating in in-store interviews and department tours.
- Fosters a people-centric culture by engaging with every teammate to cultivate mutual trust and respect, contributing to a strong recognition culture within the store.
- Plans and organizes operations 30 days in advance with the Assistant Store Manager, ensuring an effective approach and alignment on workforce needs to fulfill daily tasks, game plans, projects, or store events.
- Strategically utilizes teammates to guarantee adherence to brand standards, daily execution of programs and processes, and prioritization of tasks.
- Maintains company merchandising and presentation standards by adhering to established floor sets, signage requirements, pricing adjustments, inventory presentation, and replenishment protocols.
- Assists the store leadership team with general supervision in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Supports the training of teammates on company protocols and programs, including onboarding new hires and cross-training existing staff.
- Prioritizes coaching and personal development; provides hands-on guidance and explains the rationale behind tasks, plans, and processes.
- Exemplifies the organization's vision and store objectives by helping teammates understand how their roles align with the overall mission and goals, ensuring an outstanding shopping experience.
- Cultivates an inclusive store atmosphere where all individuals (teammates and customers) feel welcomed, safe, and respected.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Previous retail sales or customer service experience preferred.
- Capability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, and lift items weighing between 15 to 35 lbs. repeatedly.
- Ability to work extended periods (up to 4 hours) standing or walking.
- Capacity to work at heights exceeding 4 feet using ladders or aerial lifting devices.
- Ability to perform repetitive motions for brief periods (up to 2 hours continuously).
Targeted Pay Range: $20 - $28. Starting pay may vary based on factors such as location, experience, and position offered. The actual hourly rate will meet or exceed the minimum wage applicable to the job location.
