At Knute Nelson, we are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Account Executive to join our team. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for managing assigned territories, generating referrals, and achieving organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement sales plans to achieve strategic goals in partnership with the sales manager.
  • Utilize referral and market share data to identify new opportunities for growth and ensure referral, admission, and census goals are achieved.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers, including hospital systems, social workers, clinics, physicians, and senior living communities.
  • Document activities in the organization's Consumer Relationship Management tool and serve as an expert educator of available services to referral partners and community members.
  • Assist in updating and improving education and marketing & sales materials, and utilize the defined sales process to increase referrals and expand services within existing accounts.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Sales experience in a health-related field, preferably within a home health or hospice setting.
  • Daily local/regional travel is required.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook programs.
  • Ability to prioritize daily activities based on overall impact with little supervision.
  • Strong technology skills, including entering computer data into a consumer relationship management tool.
  • Must complete and pass a state required background study.
  • Able to physically perform the duties required by the position.
  • Required to have the ability to read, write, and speak English well enough to communicate with staff, patients, families, and facilities.
