About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated SLED Business Development Representative to join our team at Abnormal Security. In this role, you will be responsible for selling our security solutions to State/Local Government & K-12 Education (SLED) accounts in a defined territory.

Key Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Selling Abnormal Security solutions to enterprise SLED customers in your territory.
  • Actively prospecting for new opportunities and nurturing existing leads to build a robust pipeline.
  • Managing the entire sales cycle, from prospecting and generating new business to closing deals and expanding customer relationships.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 4+ years of direct sales experience prospecting and closing complex sales with State/Local Government and K-12 organizations in-region.
  • 2+ years of experience working for top companies selling cybersecurity solutions to CISOs and security personnel.
  • A proven track record of exceeding sales quotas, driving revenue growth, and acquiring new logos.
Salary Information

The estimated salary for this role is $90,000 - $140,000 per year, depending on experience.
