Job Title: Materials Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Materials Manager to join our team at Turning Point Search. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and controlling the flow of materials, ensuring that production schedules are met and inventory levels are optimized.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands and production timelines.
  • Plan and manage inventory levels, including procurement, storage, and distribution of materials.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth production operations and resolve any inventory-related issues.
  • Monitor and analyze inventory data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials.
  • Implement and maintain inventory control systems, including cycle counting and physical inventory audits.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to team members, including training and development opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in production/inventory control in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven track record of success in inventory management, including experience with MRP and ERP systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • College or university degree in a relevant field, such as supply chain management or business administration.
