Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Accurately inventory and replenish supplies to user areas, utilizing an automated handheld device to ensure timely and efficient delivery.
  • Supply Chain Coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods, ensuring seamless delivery to user departments.
  • Pump Depot Management: Maintain the Pump Depot, responsible for delivering, retrieving, and data entry for all requests, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Cycle Counts and Inventory: Participate in regular cycle counts and year-end inventory, ensuring accuracy and compliance with departmental policies.
  • Data Entry and Reporting: Accurately enter data into our automated Materials Management computer system, ensuring data integrity and compliance with departmental policies.
  • Equipment Installation and Maintenance: Install basic traction, cradles, bed boards, and good boards in inpatient areas as needed, ensuring equipment is properly maintained and functioning correctly.
  • Departmental Service Policy: Adhere to departmental service policy with 100% compliance, providing exceptional customer service and feedback to supervisors as necessary.
  • Aisle and Par Cart Maintenance: Routinely maintain aisle and par cart cleanliness, removing outdated items and ensuring assigned areas are kept clean and safe.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is strongly preferred.
  • Experience: Previous hospital or inventory experience is preferred.
  • Schedule: First Shift (7a-3:30p), Swing Shift (11a-7:30p), or Second Shift (2:30p-11p).
  • Other: Every Other Weekend/Some Holidays.
