Public Health Liaison, City of New York

The City of New York is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Community Associate/CBO Liaison to join our team at the Bureau of Public Health Clinics (BPHC). As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in promoting clinic services to the community, building partnerships with community-based organizations, and providing technical assistance to external partners.
Key Responsibilities- Community Outreach: Promote clinic services to the community through virtual and in-person meetings, site visits, and tabling at events.
- Partnership Development: Coordinate with external partners, organizations, and medical facilities to promote services and maintain updated lists of BPHC community partners.
- Technical Assistance: Provide technical assistance to community organizations and coordinate training coverage when needed.
- Representation: Represent BPHC on agency task forces and coordination groups, and facilitate patient advisory boards for programmatic feedback.
- Communication: Contribute to a quarterly community clinical newsletter for BPHC's partners and assure that outreach activities align with agency commitments to language justice and anti-racism.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school graduation or equivalent and three years of experience in community work or community-centered activities in an area related to duties described above.
- Education and/or experience that is equivalent to the above.
