About the Role

MITRE is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Assistant to support the Senior Vice President/General Manager in our Public Sector division. As a key member of the executive team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional administrative support, ensuring the smooth operation of the office, and maintaining the highest level of professionalism and discretion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Executive Support: Provide strategic support to the SVP/GM, including managing their schedule, calendar, and daily tasks, as well as anticipating their needs and requirements.
  • Administrative Tasks: Manage and maintain the office's administrative functions, including correspondence, expense reports, and travel arrangements.
  • Communication: Serve as a liaison between the SVP/GM and internal and external stakeholders, including executives, managers, and clients.
  • Event Planning: Plan, coordinate, and execute various meetings and events, including Sector All Hands, MPS Steering Committee meetings, and other high-profile events.
  • Travel Arrangements: Arrange for travel, including preparing itineraries, booking flights and hotels, and ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Expense Reports: Prepare and process expense reports for the SVP/GM and other team members.
  • Supply Management: Order supplies and manage the office's inventory.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance at minimum, as well as civilian agency suitability.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with MITRE management, staff, and clients.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, OneNote, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, and OneDrive, as well as experience with MS Teams and Zoom communication tools.
  • Adaptability: Ability to quickly adapt to schedule changes in a fast-paced environment and work independently with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience: Bachelor's degree with 10 years of experience or a master's degree.
  • Mobile Technology: Knowledge of the latest mobile technology, including iPhone and iPad.
  • Matrixed Organization: Experience working within a highly matrixed organization, supporting VP and/or SVP level officers.
