This position is for a Senior Product Manager of Consumables at Accordance Search Group, a dynamic player in the Medical Device sector.

Position Overview:

  • Formulate, communicate, and implement the annual business strategy for consumable items.
  • Deliver precise forecasts for consumable products on a monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Achieve all targeted product focus, gross margins, and revenue goals set by the consumables division.
  • Exceed customer expectations while ensuring fairness and reasonableness for the organization.
  • Interpret and relay customer needs through appropriate communication channels.
  • Engage with customer business environments by participating in relevant group functions and associations.
  • Thoroughly identify and comprehend customer objectives, aligning products, technologies, and services to address their challenges.
  • Create sales support materials such as product cheat sheets, objection handling guides, and marketing collateral.
  • Innovate new product offerings and SKUs for consumable starter kits and bundles.
  • Enhance customer ordering processes and capabilities, including e-commerce and partner integrations.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Articulate and convey the strengths and competitive advantages of company offerings, demonstrating how these can help customers achieve their goals.
  • Develop and execute strategic business plans for consumable goods.
  • Establish regular communication patterns for consumable products.
  • Identify key business activities and priorities, focusing on proactive measures to minimize reactive responses.
  • Clarify customer expectations regarding interactions with the company, enabling consistent planning and proactive engagement.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Base salary ranging from $140,000 to $150,000, plus bonus opportunities.
  • Comprehensive medical, vision, and dental benefits, with the company covering 85% of costs for you and your family.
  • 401k matching program.
  • Remote work flexibility with up to 30% travel required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
  • At least 5 years of successful experience in consumables product management.
  • Preferred 1 year of sales experience.
  • Proven knowledge of both downstream and upstream marketing.
  • Experience in product roadmap and lifecycle management is essential.
  • Skilled in collaborating with market development managers to create customer-facing materials.
  • Strong preference for experience with digital eCommerce solutions and maintaining customer-facing websites.
  • Demonstrated success in working with cross-functional teams to achieve marketing and commercial objectives.
  • Proven ability to sell effectively in the infection prevention sector.
  • Experience in infection control and risk management.
  • Proven track record of negotiating significant deals with senior decision-makers.
  • Strong clinical selling and concept selling capabilities.
  • Solid understanding of the hospital purchasing process, including the roles of National Accounts, GPOs, IDNs, and distributors.
  • Must comply with hospital/customer credentialing requirements.
  • Demonstrated history of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Self-motivated individual with the ability to manage multiple tasks and navigate ambiguity.
