Your Role

As a Consumer Product Strategist at BetterHelp, you will collaborate with a diverse team of professionals, including clinicians, engineers, marketers, and business leaders, all united by a common goal: enhancing access to therapy.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Lead high-impact initiatives that significantly influence the company's direction, including the development of innovative and customer-focused product offerings.
  • Initiate, assess, and prioritize ideas, gathering requirements to create specifications that maximize impact.
  • Analyze the outcomes of product changes, drawing actionable insights from data to inform future decisions.
  • Work closely with data, development, and design teams throughout the product lifecycle to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Partner with design teams to craft a user experience that is both engaging and functional.
  • Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and quality assurance to ensure high-quality product launches.


Collaboration

Internally, you will:

  • Engage with various departments to translate insights into product enhancements and ensure effective integration of changes.

Externally, you will:

  • Connect with stakeholders, including clients and partners, to ensure our products meet their needs and expectations.


What You Will Not Do

In this position, you will not be burdened by financial constraints or office politics. You will have the freedom to explore various aspects of product development and strategy without the stress of traditional startup limitations.


Remote Work

This is a remote contract position, with occasional travel to collaborate in person, fostering stronger working relationships.


Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with:

  • 5+ years of experience in a product role within a B2C environment, demonstrating measurable success.
  • A proven track record in developing diverse pricing and packaging strategies that yield positive revenue results.
  • A data-driven mindset with the ability to execute and achieve results.
  • A strong understanding of business economics and the ability to balance technical and business considerations.
  • Exceptional analytical skills, utilizing data to drive business outcomes.
  • Experience in agile product launches, consistently delivering high-quality results.
  • A keen eye for user experience and its associated metrics.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership abilities, with a strong attention to detail.
