At Cision, our success is driven by our dedicated Account Executives. As an essential part of our organization, your mission will be to enhance revenue growth through the acquisition of new clientele. You will primarily engage with small to medium-sized enterprises in a tele-prospecting role. Your objective will be to identify their communication requirements, align them with appropriate solutions, and introduce them to our offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meeting or exceeding established revenue goals.
  • Serving as the main point of contact for prospect development and acquisition, employing strategic selling techniques and market analysis.
  • Exhibiting strong objection-handling and negotiation capabilities, particularly in competitive environments.
  • Generating leads through various channels such as cold outreach, networking, and referrals.
  • Evaluating customer needs and recommending suitable solutions.
  • Delivering compelling sales presentations to prospective clients.
  • Maintaining an organized sales database and managing a pipeline of prospects using Salesforce.
  • Conducting follow-up communications and managing the sales pipeline effectively.
  • Providing outstanding customer service and support throughout the sales journey.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure smooth product and service delivery.
  • Staying informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics.
  • Adhering to revenue targets and performance metrics set by management.
  • Ensuring accurate forecasting of business portfolios.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Strong prospecting and networking skills to drive lead generation and build relationships.
  • Able to thrive in high-pressure, competitive settings with multiple responsibilities.
  • Effective time management skills for both remote and field-based roles.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for engaging prospects and clearly articulating our value proposition.
  • Comprehensive understanding of PRN products and industry insights.
  • Self-driven, results-oriented, and focused on surpassing sales objectives.
  • 1-2 years of proven B2B sales experience with a history of consistently meeting sales targets.

  • Leveraging personal and professional networks to maximize opportunities.
  • Working collaboratively with internal stakeholders and demonstrating deep engagement with key prospects.
  • Dedication to continuous learning and personal development.

  • Timely follow-up on prospects in accordance with service level agreements.
  • Adaptability to change with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in sales tools such as Outreach.
