JOB DESCRIPTION:

In this capacity, you will assist in the design and implementation of various client network infrastructures, systems, and data management solutions. Responsibilities will include client onboarding, server transitions, Office 365 migrations, troubleshooting system or network issues, and providing support for hardware and remote access solutions. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to engage with a wide array of tools and technologies.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of 2 years in Help Desk, Technical Support, Field Technician roles, or similar positions.
  • Proficient in user management with Active Directory, including user/group modifications and Office 365 administration.
  • Skilled in troubleshooting and configuring hardware such as printers, laptops, and mobile devices.
  • Experience in network maintenance and server log analysis.
  • Familiarity with firewalls, switches, wireless access points (WAP), and VLAN configurations.
  • Understanding of Windows Server and workstation environments.
  • Knowledge of networking principles, including TCP/IP, subnetting, routing, DNS, DHCP, and related tools.
  • Experience with remote management tools like ConnectWise.
  • Comfortable engaging with clients through various communication channels.
  • Confident in client-facing interactions.

BONUS EXPERIENCE:

  • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft, or Cisco.
  • Familiarity with tools like ConnectWise, IT Glue, Group Policy, and Solarwinds.
  • Experience in a managed service provider environment.
  • Knowledge of LAN/WAN, routers, switches, and VPN technologies.
  • Understanding of virtual machine access using VMware or Hyper-V.
