Position Overview

AMECO is seeking a skilled and driven Field Sales Consultant to join our dynamic team. This role is centered around the designated sales area, where you will engage with clients to understand their equipment, tooling, and consumable requirements.

As a Field Sales Consultant, your primary focus will be to deliver tailored solutions that meet the specific needs of our customers. The ideal candidate will possess a collaborative spirit, outstanding sales acumen, and the ability to cultivate and sustain long-term relationships. Your clientele will encompass various sectors, including construction, contracting, scaffolding, industrial, and electrical power welding & rigging.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Expand the company's market presence by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities while nurturing and enhancing existing client relationships.
  • Develop and maintain strong connections with clients that contribute to the ongoing success and sales growth of our offerings, including providing quotes and engaging in upselling and cross-selling activities.
  • Oversee an assigned portfolio of accounts, ensuring that customer service and satisfaction standards are consistently met while achieving sales and profitability targets.
  • Utilize a CRM system to manage client interactions and build a robust pipeline of potential business.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of three years' experience in a field sales, account management, or business development role.
  • Familiarity with the supply distribution, equipment rental sector, or construction services, along with a solid understanding of our product range (tools and equipment) is advantageous.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple time-sensitive tasks while providing high-quality support to clients in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to address inquiries at all organizational levels.
  • A collaborative team player.
  • Preferred: Some college or an associate degree in a relevant field.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel for data analysis, report creation, and sales material preparation.
  • Experience with SAP, particularly SAP Business One, is a plus.

This role may require travel, including overnight stays. Candidates will have the flexibility to work remotely while coordinating with our branch location.
