POSITION SUMMARY:
Devon Industries Inc. stands at the forefront of the quick-lube automotive equipment industry, focusing on the design, production, and installation of top-tier service equipment aimed at transforming oil change and maintenance procedures in automotive service centers. Our dedication to innovation, quality, and sustainability has established us as a reliable partner for automotive service providers across the nation.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the Field Sales Consultant will play a crucial role in cultivating and sustaining relationships with clients from various sectors. This position involves identifying client needs and delivering customized solutions that align with our product offerings. A strong aptitude for communicating the benefits of our comprehensive equipment packages and additional services to a diverse clientele is essential.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Formulate and implement a strategic sales plan to meet sales objectives and enhance Devon's market footprint.
- Identify and engage potential clients, including quick-lube facilities, dealerships, independent garages, municipalities, and government entities.
- Conduct engaging sales presentations and product demonstrations to highlight our equipment packages and services.
- Establish and nurture long-term client relationships to encourage loyalty and repeat business.
- Deliver outstanding customer service and support throughout the sales journey, including follow-up after sales.
- Collaborate with engineering and installation teams to ensure client requirements are met and expectations surpassed.
- Utilize CRM software to monitor sales activities, manage leads, and report on sales performance.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and market demands to effectively position our products.
- Participate in trade shows, industry events, and networking opportunities to promote our brand and services.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of education.
- Demonstrated success in outside sales, preferably within the automotive, equipment, or related sectors.
- Strong understanding of the automotive quick-lube market and the specific needs of various customer segments.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly.
- Self-driven and results-oriented with robust negotiation skills.
- Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel frequently to meet clients and attend industry events.
- Base salary plus commission structure.
