Key Responsibilities:

  1. Client Engagement: Interact with clients during their vehicle purchasing journey to evaluate their insurance needs and review their existing coverage.
  2. Insurance Solutions: Present clients with tailored insurance policy options, detailing the advantages and conditions of each choice.
  3. Quote Acquisition: Work alongside insurance providers to secure quotes based on clients' vehicles, driving records, and personal details.
  4. Policy Facilitation: Assist clients in the purchase of insurance policies, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed accurately and in line with state regulations.
  5. Cross-Selling Opportunities: Propose additional insurance products, such as gap insurance or extended warranties, to enhance client coverage.
  6. Client Education: Clarify insurance terminology, coverage limits, and deductibles to ensure clients fully understand their policies.
  7. Ongoing Communication: Maintain regular contact with clients to address inquiries, provide updates, and assist with claims or policy adjustments.
  8. Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed about insurance laws and ensure all transactions comply with legal standards.
  9. Record Keeping: Keep precise records of insurance transactions, policies, and client information.
  10. Sales Objectives: Achieve or surpass sales goals established by the dealership.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is advantageous).
  • Active Property & Casualty License is mandatory.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Familiarity with insurance products and industry standards.
  • Experience in sales and customer service, ideally within the automotive or insurance industries.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
  • Proficiency in software applications for managing client information and generating insurance quotes.
