Direct Sales plays a pivotal role in driving revenue and services to both new and existing clients through personal interactions or telephonic communication to achieve individual and organizational sales targets.
Territory Management focuses on initiating contact, prospecting, and fostering relationships that enhance account engagement, revenue enhancement, and customer satisfaction within a designated product line, business sector, and/or geographical area. Key objectives include generating new business opportunities as well as deepening engagement with current accounts.
Job Overview
The Consultant, Territory Management Non-Acute is tasked with generating new business, finalizing sales, establishing accounts, and nurturing client relationships. This role requires a sales representative who is well-versed in the non-acute product offerings. Additionally, the position involves overseeing distribution and order management for clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Builds client pipelines and nurtures both existing and new client relationships.
- Conducts market analysis and evaluates product penetration among both new and existing clients, identifying areas for growth.
- Provides support for distribution order management and coordination as necessary.
- Collaborates with sales support staff for pre-call planning and delegates data collection to Operations Team members.
- Determines pricing for clients based on Group Purchasing Agreements, seeking suitable and cost-effective alternatives when needed, and assesses rebate eligibility.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience is preferred.
- A minimum of 4 years of relevant sales experience is preferred.
- Demonstrated product knowledge in the relevant business area.
- Experience in business development and cold calling is essential.
- Strong organizational capabilities.
- Solid business acumen.
- Proven track record of high performance and adaptability to new challenges.
- Willingness to travel as required (approximately 4-6 overnight trips per month on average).
- Valid driver's license is required.
Expectations at this Level:
- Utilizes comprehensive knowledge and a deep understanding of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to execute diverse tasks and projects.
- May assist in the formulation of policies and procedures.
- Engages in complex projects of significant scope.
- Develops innovative technical solutions to a variety of challenging problems.
- Ensures solutions align with organizational objectives.
- Completes tasks independently while receiving general guidance on new projects.
- Work is reviewed to ensure alignment with objectives.
- May serve as a mentor to less experienced colleagues.
Compensation: The anticipated pay range is $115,000 - $125,000 (includes targeted variable pay).
