The role of Technical Support Specialist is pivotal in delivering Tier 1 support to our clients. Your responsibilities will extend beyond basic troubleshooting to include a thorough understanding of SQL queries, network diagnostics, and assisting users with various technical challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance.
  • Verify customer eligibility for support and collaborate with the Support Operations team as needed.
  • Address a wide array of product and system-related inquiries.
  • Diagnose and resolve customer issues or escalate to the appropriate team when necessary.
  • Maintain ownership of service requests and ensure timely resolution.
  • Foster positive relationships with customers, keeping them informed throughout the support process.
  • Contribute to the development of knowledge management resources.

Qualifications

  • Experience with OPERA Property Management System (PMS) or MICROS Point of Sale (POS) is preferred.
  • Some prior experience in IT support is advantageous.
  • A strong interest in problem-solving and technology.
  • Certifications such as Network+, CompTIA A+, or Cisco are beneficial.
  • Familiarity with SQL is a plus.

Additional Skills

  • Experience in the hospitality or food and beverage industry is a plus.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to empathize with clients.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Compensation:

The hiring range for this position is from $19.23 to $30.32 per hour, with potential eligibility for equity. Oracle maintains broad salary ranges to reflect varying factors such as experience and market conditions.
