About the Role

Erdman Anthony is seeking a highly skilled Project Surveyor to join our team. As a Project Surveyor, you will play a critical role in coordinating and directing survey project team members to ensure that projects are completed as specified and within budgetary and timeline constraints.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Coordination: Manage and coordinate projects with multiple team members, including other business units, to ensure seamless execution.
  • Technical Guidance: Provide guidance and direction to surveying technicians to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Survey Planning: Prepare Boundary and Topographic survey plans and agreements, and perform survey computations and boundary resolution for various project types.
  • Construction Support: Prepare Construction Layout and As-Built Surveys, Right-of-Way Surveys, and other project types.
Requirements
  • Professional License: NY Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license, or ability to obtain within one year.
  • Experience: 5+ years of professional surveying experience.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in surveying, civil engineering, or a related field.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with Mapping software (Civil 3D, Carlson, inroads, etc.) and strong knowledge of surveying principles, techniques, and equipment.
  • Communication: Ability to read and interpret design/construction plans, and communicate effectively with project teams.
  • Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects and project teams, and develop project scope and fee estimating.
  • Attention to Detail: Maintain a high level of attention to detail and work independently.
