Job Description

Thew Associates, a leading land and hydrographic surveying and mapping firm, is seeking a highly motivated Project Manager to oversee and execute various surveying and mapping projects across New York State.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate field work, including topographic, utility, bathymetric, boundary, construction, hazardous waste site, and as-builts projects.
  • Perform survey calculations and prepare mapping documents.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and proposal preparation.
  • Identify new business opportunities and contribute to the growth of the company.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure the successful execution of projects.

Requirements:

  • A.A.S. in Surveying Technology or B.S. in Surveying Engineering preferred.
  • New York State Professional Land Surveyor license preferred.
  • Minimum of five years' experience as a Land Surveyor/Project Manager.
  • Strong technical skills, including AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and demonstrate versatility.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
