Job Type:
Full-time
Schedule: 8 Hour Shift (Day shift – Monday to Friday) with overtime

Experience:
A minimum of 5 years in civil engineering, particularly in project design

Education:
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related discipline; a Professional Engineer (PE) license in New York is preferred but not mandatory

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Project Planning and Execution:
Collaborate with project managers, landscape architects, and other stakeholders to formulate project plans, specifications, and timelines. Conduct site evaluations and surveys to determine project viability and identify potential obstacles. Create detailed engineering designs, drawings, and calculations utilizing AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant software.

Coordinate and Support:
Liaise with contractors, subcontractors, and project stakeholders for construction initiatives. Offer technical guidance and support to junior engineers, technicians, and other team members.

Quality Assurance and Compliance:
Perform quality assurance and quality control assessments to ensure adherence to design standards, specifications, and regulations. Prepare and submit necessary permit applications, environmental assessments, and other regulatory documents as required.

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field. Professional Engineer (PE) license in New York is preferred but not required. At least 5 years of experience in civil engineering, focusing on project design. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Microsoft Office Suite, and other engineering software. Strong grasp of civil engineering principles, construction methodologies, and regulatory standards.

Communication and Organizational Skills:
Exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving capabilities. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
