We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team at TagStaff. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating and directing survey project team members to ensure that projects are completed as specified and within budgetary and timeline constraints.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and coordinate projects with multiple team members, including other business units, to ensure seamless execution and delivery.
- Provide guidance and direction to surveying technicians, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to complete tasks efficiently.
- Develop and prepare project plans, including boundary and topographic survey plans, and agreements, to ensure compliance with client and company policies and standards.
- Perform survey computations and boundary resolution for boundary and ALTA surveys, and topographic surveys, to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Prepare construction layout and as-built surveys, right-of-way surveys, and various other project types, to meet client requirements.
- NY Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license, or ability to obtain within one year.
- 5+ years of professional surveying experience, with a strong background in project management and team leadership.
- Bachelor's Degree in surveying, civil engineering, or a related field, with a focus on project management and leadership.
- Experience with mapping software, including Civil 3D, Carlson, and Inroads, to ensure proficiency in data management and analysis.
- Strong knowledge of surveying principles, techniques, and equipment, to ensure accuracy and quality in project delivery.
- Ability to read and interpret design and construction plans, to ensure compliance with client and company requirements.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and project teams, to ensure efficient execution and delivery.
- Develop project scope and fee estimating, to ensure accurate budgeting and forecasting.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, to ensure effective collaboration and communication with team members and clients.
- Maintain a current driver's license in good standing and able to operate company-owned vehicles, to ensure safe and efficient transportation.
- Attention to detail, to ensure accuracy and quality in project delivery.
- Work independently, with minimal supervision, to ensure efficient execution and delivery.
