About the Role

Hargrove Engineers + Constructors is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead our capital projects team. As a key member of our corporate engineering team, you will be responsible for managing large-scale projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead large capital plant projects, following a front-end loaded project work process with multiple project phases and develop deliverables over the project lifecycle.
  • Work with Supply Chain and Corporate Engineering teams to develop and maintain a culture emphasizing environmental stewardship, employee health and safety, legal compliance, and community relations.
  • Sustain control of projects by tracking and maintaining discipline performance budget progress, schedule commitments, and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with Risk Management team to ensure testing documentation is current, attend plant insurance company audits, and assist with resolving any audit findings.
  • Develop and/or understand long-term business goals with Supply Chain Planning.
  • Visit assigned plants and meet with facility operations to discuss business goals and understand their needs.
  • Develop and maintain a 10-year plan, considering return on investment, safety and environmental exposure, logical construction sequencing, rough project cost, and annual cost allowance.
  • Annually review the plan with Supply Chain team, track progress, and update the 3-year 'look ahead'.
  • Work with Supply Chain Planning and plant facility operations to develop budget estimates for the coming fiscal year.
Requirements
  • Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
  • Professional Engineering and/or Project Management Professional (PMP) registration is highly preferred.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in heavy industrial/process work and project execution, with experience in process commercialization from ideation to operational turnover focused on process flow, liquid transfer, and packaging.
  • Knowledge of Hargrove project execution procedures, company business standards, and good practices.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in complex project management, leadership, and team orientation.
  • Ability to manage client relationships, communicate effectively, and handle stress with poise.
