About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Coordinator to join our team at MasTec Communications Group. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for facilitating and coordinating the work of multiple project teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and resolve barriers to successful project completion, with a focus on resolving issues with subcontractors.
  • Provide timely project status updates to project managers and escalate unresolved issues.
  • Maintain and update our company database to ensure accurate project information.
  • Generate customized reports and pivot tables using advanced Excel functionality.
  • Create and track contracts, purchase orders, submittals, and project close-out manuals.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact with external vendors and consultants on project matters.
  • Manage correspondence between the general contractor, owner, architect, and subcontractors.
Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree or 5 years of equivalent work experience.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to resolve complex problems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • A construction background and purchasing experience are highly desirable.
  • Norad and Oracle experience, as well as telecom experience, are a plus.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
