Interoceanic is a prominent manufacturer specializing in fertilizers and ice melter products, with operations across various locations. We are currently seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Administrative Coordinator to enhance our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage incoming communications via phone and email with professionalism.
  • Coordinate shipping and receiving schedules, maintaining an updated calendar.
  • Welcome and check in delivery personnel for pickups and drop-offs.
  • Record production assemblies, confirm quantities produced, and allocate products to customer orders.
  • Update documentation, including lot codes and locations for produced items.
  • Collaborate with Customer Service regarding order completions.
  • Generate daily order reports.
  • Review production schedules to prepare formulas for manufacturing.
  • Create pallet tags for production with relevant batch codes and customer identifiers.
  • Verify and approve timecards within the payroll system.
  • Input production line bonuses for payroll processing.
  • Monitor attendance records for the production team.
  • Compile and analyze daily production data to assess plant output goals.
  • Maintain and update production logs.
  • Assist with cycle counting and inventory management.
  • Support HR and Plant Management with onboarding new hires and completing employment verification.
  • Prepare and package shipments for distribution.
  • Engage in additional projects as required.

Work Schedule, Compensation & Benefits:

  • Full-time position, Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
  • Competitive hourly wage starting at $20, commensurate with experience.
  • Paid holidays and five PTO days available from the start of employment.

  • 401(k) plan with company matching after 60 days.
  • Two weeks of vacation time in the following year, with pro-rated vacation for the remainder of the current year based on hire date.

  • Experience in scheduling, customer service, or inventory management within a manufacturing context.
  • Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and strong attendance record.
  • Proficient in various software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite and payroll systems.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, accountability, and attention to detail.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong customer service skills and effective communication abilities.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt, with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • A positive and engaging demeanor.

This role is situated in a manufacturing setting, requiring movement between buildings and outdoor exposure in various weather conditions. The position involves a mix of sitting, standing, walking, and operating office equipment.
