About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Executive Vice President, Clinical Operations to join our team at RHO. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic direction and operational execution of our clinical trials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide executive-level oversight and governance to clinical trials, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
  • Collaborate with the Business Development team to support sales activities, including pipeline review, proposal development, and client meetings.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
  • Oversee project management teams to drive financial management of assigned projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and invoicing.
  • Act as a liaison with Business Development and Proposals to drive strategy and participate in business development opportunities.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, blockages, and issues in existing projects to enhance chances of securing repeated business.
  • Measure project progress, risks, and trends using metrics and KPIs to achieve project milestones delivery.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Life Science or related field, with a minimum of ten years of experience managing full-service and global clinical trials.
  • At least 8 years of experience focusing on Analgesia clinical trials.
  • Experience developing and managing clinical trial budgets, including moderately complex domestic budget development and simple global development.
  • Experience managing project managers, either via direct line management or matrix/project management.
  • Solid understanding of project staffing and typical project team structures.
  • Exhibits clear understanding of the drug development process.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers, and clients.
  • Demonstrates effective decision-making skills.
  • Proven ability to balance competing priorities and lead the team to resolution.
