Vice President of Finance


SVI Recruiting Group is in search of a highly qualified and seasoned Vice President of Finance to spearhead our financial operations and strategic initiatives.

As an integral member of the executive leadership team, the Vice President of Finance will oversee all facets of the organization's financial well-being, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and collaborating with various departments to foster sustainable growth.

This position is office-based.



Key Responsibilities:
1. Direct and manage the organization's financial functions, encompassing accounting, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and capital management.

2. Formulate and execute financial strategies that align with the organization’s overarching business goals.


3. Supervise the creation of precise and timely financial statements in compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and regulatory mandates.

4. Mitigate risks by evaluating the organization’s financial performance, identifying potential threats, and devising strategies for risk management.

5. Ensure adherence to all relevant laws, regulations, and accounting standards.

6. Lead the finance department, including the development and maintenance of internal controls, ensuring compliance with organizational policies.

7. Collaborate with department leaders to provide financial insights, guidance, and support in achieving their strategic objectives.

8. Manage relationships with external auditors and regulatory bodies.

9. Stay informed on current trends within the financial sector and advise senior management on pertinent financial issues.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline (CPA preferred).

2. A minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior financial leadership capacity within the financial services sector.

3. Demonstrated success in formulating and executing financial strategies.

4. Strong analytical and financial modeling capabilities.

5. Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

6. Comprehensive understanding of GAAP and regulatory compliance requirements for financial institutions.

7. Proven leadership experience in managing and inspiring a team.

They will possess strategic thinking abilities, outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, and a demonstrated capacity to build and lead a high-performing team.
