Vice President of Net Lease Operations

A prominent services organization is actively seeking a seasoned expert to join their team as the new Vice President of Net Lease Operations. In this pivotal role, the Vice President will be tasked with expanding and enhancing the net lease division, taking full accountability for all operational functions, including the management of the segment's profit and loss.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and execute a robust business strategy aimed at uncovering growth avenues and optimizing returns on invested capital.
  • Assess and refine the current portfolio by determining which assets to retain, sell, or monetize.
  • Attract new tenants by leasing the available spaces within the Net Lease portfolio.
  • Oversee all operational facets of the net lease real estate sector, encompassing property acquisition, development, and leasing activities.
  • Provide mentorship and support to cultivate a culture of teamwork, innovation, and excellence.
  • Develop and oversee the financial strategies, budgets, and forecasts for the organization.
  • Track financial performance, evaluate key metrics, and implement strategies to enhance profitability.
  • Identify and address potential risks and challenges linked to the net lease portfolio.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive factors.
  • Conduct market analysis, interpret data, and pinpoint emerging opportunities.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 4 years of demonstrated experience in a senior executive role within the Real Estate sector.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Real Estate market trends, property development, and investment strategies.
  • Strong background in Commercial Real Estate and Lease Administration.
  • Robust financial acumen with expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and highly organized.

Preferred Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in leading and managing a Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT).
