Industrial Sales Director

Job Overview:
The TerraCycle Industry Sales Manager is a key member of our North American business development team, responsible for driving sales growth and developing new business opportunities. As a seasoned sales professional, you will lead a team of sales associates in identifying and pursuing new partnerships with sustainability stakeholders across various industries.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate a team of sales associates to achieve strategic and financial goals
- Identify and pursue new partnership opportunities through proactive outreach and research
- Daily contact mining and outreach activities include cold calling, email outreach, LinkedIn, and contact databases
- Manage and respond to inbound partnership inquiries via email, web-conferencing, and phone
- Develop client-specific presentations highlighting TerraCycle's programs and present virtually or in person (when possible) to potential new partners
- Manage and move deals throughout the pipeline to finalization of contract
- Maintain records on accounts and update CRM system
- Collaborate with internal departments to find creative solutions for clients' needs and improve internal processes
Requirements:
- 2-5 years of sales, account management, consulting, or marketing experience
- Clear and effective verbal and written communication
- Understanding of sales processes and techniques to identify opportunities, negotiate, and convert leads into customers
- Capable of building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders
- Capacity to identify challenges and develop creative solutions to address them
- Effective time and project management skills
- Desire to learn and work on a team that is working to continuously improve our offerings and exceed expectations
- Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives
- Familiarity with CRM software, Google Suite, MS Office, and other relevant technology platforms
- Confidence and proficiency in delivering presentations to internal and external audiences
Estimated Salary Range:$80,000 - $120,000 per year
